Well I've bought a new router and this one is now failing with the same problem at night. I decided to monitor the temperature in my room and it actually goes up by like almost 10 degrees around 9-9:30. I don't know what to do as any networking router is going to fail if it overheats. Anyone have a suggestion for a router I can buy that has a fan built in, or a suggestion of how to fix this problem?

Open the chassis and put a fan on it or move the equipment somewhere else in the house.

I put it on top of my computer, and since the case is pretty cold, it seems to be fine for now.

Ok, well I figured out the issue. It wasn't overheating, it was the most simple thing. The 12V adapter had gone bad! If any of you have problems with your router, I suggest trying a different adapter. Can't believe I didn't try that earlier... Cheesy
