CompUSA closings
« on: February 27, 2007, 06:58:57 PM »
128 of 229 stores closing.  All Phoenix locations.  Tucson store remains open ... for now.

Guess there's not enough competition locally :-[  A Fry's down here would certainly do them in.

ITS OVER!!!

Now closed, all sales final!!

CompUSA purchased by Systemax (tigerdirect.com), TUCSON store closed.

Maybe that original compusa t-shirt they gave out of opening day will be worth something now...

Yeah I thought it was fishy when, three months ago even, the CompUSA and tiger direct shared the same product reviews. Even for the local page. I was kind of disappointed they closed, but I would only buy things from there I needed same day, since most things are more expensive locally in Tucson.
